My school has an active PTSO, and earlier this year the parent of one of my former 8th graders (and PTSO president), interviewed me about Whole Novels for the Whole Class.

Read the interview here on the blog hosted by parents at my school:

"Whole Novels": Inside Brooklyn Prospect's 8th Grade

It was really neat to have an in depth conversation with a parent about my teaching choices, and hear her responses (not all of which are included in the transcript, since it was an interview). It made me think about how nice it would be to connect more with parents about curriculum and methods in addition to communicating with parents about student progress.
